Hmmm, I'd have to try it first. I set up a server kicking people with a ping higher than 100 but I soon found that even pings of 150 were playable (Europe to USA in my case). A LOT of servers apply a 200 ping limit though so it may not always be easy to find a server willing to let you play.

Yes, it is possible to play with a ping of 220. I have played with a ping of 480 before! You just have to find a server with out an auto high ping kicker.
