Well yes of course, fun keeps me playing as well, especially cause I play with my best buddy all the time. Fun sometimes fade though when I cannot get something that seems impossible, like the explosive ordnance badge !

He means that they could use the rankingsystem which BF2 uses. Look at the left side of the posts, below the names, there is always a rank! There are quite many ofem!

that would be cool of they made all those ranks in the new patch, imagine how long that would take to reach those ranks. If they are going to make all those extra ranks they cant make the requirments to high.

so far they have only made 2Lt. but EA/Dice will probably make more

The ranks here on totalBf2 could be used, check your rank against your name.

problem with that is the game is supposed to be Marine ranks not Army there is a diffrence in the ranks between them. not sure how many in each but i do belive that the Army has more ranks not sure tho

Commissioned officer ranks of the US Army and USMC are almost identical. The only exception being the look of the Captain's rank. The USMC Captain's bars are connected more towards the edge than the Army's.

I couldnt care less if they add more ranks really. They should focus on fixing the game as it is now. Heck theyd probably screw up the game more trying to do it keeping in mind the last 3 patches

Im betting that if they do it will be something like 5000000000000000000 global points and 90000000000000000000 hours plus every ribbon and every expert badge and every single medal....so there will be like 1 uber dork that gets it

the thing that gets to me is now the ranks include so many stripes its hard to tell on the player (tab) screen who outranks who cus the pictures are so small and squashed.
including officer ranks would be awesome it would be easy to tell bars, leafs and stars apart from the stripes.

and as an active duty airforce enlisted member, i can tell you that a Seargeant Major gets alot more respect than a 2d LT.

its not until you are at least a major (0-4) before you are taken seriously.
