Got the editor now what...

Here is another nOOb that has the editor and no idea were to start. Can some one give me a idea were to start and some good tips or anything? I got tired of mapping for MoHAA, if any of you even know what that is. Not many people play it or mod for it anymore so I decided to move to BF2 and HL2 for now. Thanks to anyone that helps me.

On the computer i'm doing the mapping on it dont have word or internet for now. So I got the tuts when I got the editor, and couldnt open them, then get a website that I cant visit. Is there another way I can open the files, maybe notepad or wordpad? Thanks and sorry, should have stated that I dont have word and tried the tuts, and dont have an internet connection till I buy a router thing.


EDIT:: Wait, I just remembered I have a 60 or 90 day trial for it I think, I'll go install it, that will give me plenty of time to learn them. Sorry, I'm stupid.

Ok, I found a way to open them and I did lesson 1 & 2. I made my 1st map by the steps, that one crashes, but I made a second and it worked, now ill start doing more to the maps and stuff, but how do you get the map to show up on the loading screen and in game? Mine is just grey, but it has the control points, and the descriptiong too. Thx
