password help!!!!!!!

For some reason, my password is now not working and EA is no help at all.

I had been playing for about an hour stoped and started up again and got this message that my password was incorrect.

I used the forgot password tool, got the password, (that i remembered in the first place) went back into the game and it still told me that it was incorrect.

I called the EA support line twice. The first time they told me to try again in an hour and then call back if that didnn't work. It didn't work and i called back about 1/2 hour later and the support line was closed for the day. that is just shady as hell.

i called again today and they told me that they would send my request to another department and that i would have to just wait for an answer.

if anyone has a solution to this prob please let me know

Can you log into www.gamespy.com with your password?

yes i can go to gamespy and it works there. it just won't work ingame anymore.....

I didn't do anything to the remember password section of the login screen. When i re entered the game the password field was blank and my pass no longer worked for me.

Someone please help me, i was a sergent major and i don't want to start all over again..

Hmm, I really have no idea. When you log into BF2 you're logging into gamespy so there shouldn't be any difference?

Have you got a friend who would be willing to let you use his login/password to see if it works elsewhere?

Unfortunalty the exact thing happened to me this morning !!!

I was playing as normal, quit, came back on 4 hrs later, and password space was blank.

I manually entered my password, but it said it was inccorect. Even reseting my password didnt work....im in the same boat as i am a so close to bcoming a sg. major...dont want to start again.....HELP >>!

How about moving the BF2 folder from 'my docs' to somewhere else and trying again?

A similar thing happened to me, I logged in, it said my PW was incorrect, immediatly clicked "Connect" again and it worked the second time...

No idea why... the PW field was filled.... but it rejected the PW and then immediatly accepted it 10 seconds later for no reason.
