Cannot retrieve account after install

Hi all......

had to reinstall game after son found the delete button
had just patched last week to 1.03 game ran fine ....

now cannot retrieve account info from server.... says email etc is wrong try again.......

have manually updated punkbuster as well..... game was running peachie before this mishap.......


Any help would be appriciated as i dont want to have to buy a new monitor the next time i lose the head with BF2

log in with your user login and not your email address?

but tried that.....
tried every combination at log on screen......

keeps coming back "server closed connection".......

help................

Can you log in with the same info at any of the gamespy sites?

server closed connection = Try turning your firewall off maybe ?

turned off windows firewall = no joy
turned off all norton = no joy
setup ports from list at back of manual = no joy....

f'n fed up now 2 nights of faffin about ......

looks like tiz gonna have to put back in the old ghost on the drive.....
