for all of u elite fighter pilots out there i have a question for u. is it possible to invert ur plane 180 where it is upside down like in the movie TOP GUN and fly around. if it is i sure would like to see in game footage of the person actually flying inverted like that. now that would be cool.

However, I inadvetantly forget the up/down and end up pulling up to bury myself into the dirt.

It can be done, but it is quite pointless. It accomplishes no more than confusing the pilot, and really has no advantages to it.

Though I guess that dropped bombs would behave differently if dropped upwards...

I do it all the time, but it doesn't actually serve much of a purpose.

Unfortunately the bombs seem to drop from the top of the plane though

yea, that always sucks. Just fooling around in practice or on a server with no enemy pilot competition, then pull the wrong way. oh ****, shouldn't have done that.

yes its possibal, do it all the time but is confusing. its alot more fun leading another jet on a goose chace and doing barrel rolls and flips.

also if your flying a jet and arn't using a joystick you should get one because its alot better...

You don't have to be an elite fighter pilot to invert your plane - you just have to know how to move a mouse/joystick. Barrel rolls can be good for getting not-so-experienced pilots off your tail.

I find this very usefull, as i practice it alot i can do it without getting to badly disorentated, so what i do is a half loop (when another plane is on my tail) spin 180 the do another half loop, they can never find where you are after that, wlaso just half barrel rolling then pulling down to closly skim the ground is a good trick as often those following you do not have the guts to come after you or end up hitting the ground...
