Windows 2000 issue

There is a member that is having an issue with installing BF 2 and using windows 2000.does this game support 2000? he gets an error message than it stops installing..any info or help would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance.

XP is the only os supported

thanks for the info fellas..info passed along..he actually got the game to work on 2000..dont ask me how...i dont know. :)

well seeing as how xp is based off of 2000 i could see that being possible. But why would a game go backwards????
