EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I'm all for team players sticking together in vehicles, I encourage it. Often I'll join the squad of the pilot, but in this case....I just didn't feel like it.

Before boarding the helo, place C4 next to the cockpit. If someone tries this on you, simply bail, pull your chute, glide back into the combat zone before your health drops, and press the detonator.

I love getting told to bail out. Funny thing... a few minutes later, all is forgiven ? Give your new gunners a chance: you might find them more than qualified to fly with you, oh great ones...
seeing if they can make a modification to the new patch to blow the whole aircraft up and not just killing the gunner as the front of the helo would also be out of bounds...
Your right, it is a public server, however if im pilot, i have rights to who i want in my gunner seat. When im not with someone who knows what they are doing, im just fine and dandy with teaching a noob on how to own other noobs with the turret/TV.
The good part about public servers.. is that there are over 1000 of them.. Ban me on one, ill go to the next. Suck it. Thanks.
So last night I jumped in an apache, I was in one squad and the pilot was in another. He was waiting for a buddy. So I got the usual "Bail Out" spam, but I refused to get out. The pilot then proceeded to fly to the outtabounds area. At first I thought he was going to suicide us, but then realized he put just enough of the Apache out of bounds, so that I would get killed, he then proceeded to pick up his buddy. Nice tactic. I never saw that one before. I had a good laugh.

the only right you have is to be the pilot nothing more, that helo doesnt belong to you, nor do you have control of the server and who gets to play in what role
the ROE states..
you may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use on a public server (e.g. flying them out of bounds to kill them to get your friend in the gunners seat, etc.)
f. Servers may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on roles or kits that players can use while on your server e.g. Commander, Squad Leader, Spec Ops, etc.)
