Do you pull out yours or just try to shoot him dead.

Whenever I see someone coming at me with a knife I dont know why but i step back and take out my knife too. I know I can just easily shoot him but something inside me instinctly takes out the knife and have a knife battle. I think its because this was common in counter-strike when I used to play so whenever someone wants to have a knife battle i give them courtesy and give it to them. Last night I had a real good knife battle in a heavy firefight and my squad mates were just watching instead of helping me out. I won and it felt great to knife someone that pre-empted it in front of my squad mates. We had a good laugh.

I'm a bastard and I usually just shoot them dead.

If there's nobody else of the enemy team around I might change to knife .. not often though, I've had a couple too many times the guy with the knife sees me switch to knife, proceeds to whip out his gun and waste me..

'code of honor' .. I'm pretty old-school BF/DC player myself and the only 'code of honor' I saw on the server is 'eat or be eaten'..

I will personally never pull out a knife to initiate a battle. However, if you're running towards me with a knife/shocks out, I will pull mine out and have a nice fight.

The second I get damaged though, my L85 comes right back out, =)

When ppl take out knife, I usually respond with a spoon, and then proceed to gouge out their eyeballs. :drevil:

I just shot them sorry “honor” is for chumps. Unlike some of you I live in the 21st century where we use guns to kill people…

Sometime I like to let them get close to me then just as they are nearly in range I unload a round of 00 buck into their craniums or fire my noobtube into his face. I like to think this ****es them off even worse then just shooting them at a distance and perhaps teaches them to use a real weapon next time.

I myself never use my knife if I intend to bushwhack a sniper I shot him from close range and if I’m in close and out of pistol and rifle ammo I just reload. So in closing if you see me and come at me with a knife expect a face full of lead.

I honestly dont know how many times i knifed this silly enemy commander but if i didnt have my veteran knife badge he wouldve made my day! .... id knife em then go destroy his assets.... Im sure he enjoyed me!

I do, but it's only happened to me once. So, the 2 of us are dancing around slashing at each other when I see an enemy tank pull up and watch. I think to myself, "ok...good, he's not going to kill me so we can have our knife fight and if I win then he can kill me. :)" A few more seconds pass and then "pud pud pud" the tank machine guns me.

thats funny that you bring that up. I saw on tv on a interview (maybe in the DVD's Extras) that indiana jones supposed to have this big whip dual with that guy without his gun but Harrison Ford had a real bad fever that day. The producers insisted that he was to fight him and he says "why can't I just shoot him?". The producers thought it would actually be funny and they went with it.
