Well after over a week of emailing EA I've been officially blown off.
"Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your incident. Unfortunately, support staff can not alter or modify stats, ranks, kits and badges for Battlefield 2. The collection of this data is very complex, and as you can imagine with the popularity of Battlefield 2 an immense undertaking. There is simply no way we can adjust every players score, though we would love to. We do however, review every claim and report so that we can identify any potential issues. "
I tried logging in one day and I got a "uniquenick is incorrect". I checked the forums and found it had to do with gamespy id's. Well I emailed gamespy 3-4 times, and EA about 10 times total. EA blew me off, and gamespy responded twice with no good answer. I was able to create a new BF2 nickname with the EXACT same nickname as my old account. Same email, everything. How is that possible? EA had no answer for me. I log in with my new account and when I go to BFHQ I click on compare and now there are 2 Hulka's listed. They are both my accounts, but I can't access the original. Why is it still listed? I have 15,500 points on the original account and around 150 hours. Now I'm up to about 800 on my "new" account, and very frustrated. I realize this is just a game, but when you put that much time in it really sucks hard. I got a survey from EA about my customer service experience and I trashed them. I listed just about every EA game I've ever bought going back to my Sega Genesis. I told them what a joke their service is. I haven't heard back on that one yet. Of course, in the end, I'm still playing their games. So I guess they win. Sorry for the bitch session, I think I'll leave work early and go home and play more BF2!
