    I had that i found the easiest way was to reinstall completely (Add/Remove program from control panel) and then repatch that fixed me up

            i had this problem with Bf2 a while ago, with the modified content and all, and it's due to fiddling around with the game files, serversettings.con and stuff like that, it's also when you put a ***** in, a reinstall and playing it with the game disc genrally works everytime... that's what worked for me anyways...
