unmodified content???

i dunno why i am getting this message. i know the server i am trying to connect to is 1.03 and my version is 1.03 so whats going on? if anyone knows plz let me know thx. here is a SS of the message....

This server only allowes players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of battlefield 2 to the current official version to join.

still didnt work... its acting like i dont have the same version as the server... but i know i do... unless the gay patch didnt update it right and just says it did... this is sad EA/DICE release 2 patches in a row - the hot fix that are totally f-up NICE....

yup and i just got dont with another fresh install and still no luck... i thik i am done with BF2 this is BS

hahahha wooo hoo finally it works all i have to say is keep uninstaling and reinstalling the game and patch till it works... thats what i did and it finally works.... took me aobut 10 trys but i got it to work fianlly and in the mean time i remebered my key so i guess there is a + to the gayness lol

I had this problem (since installing v1.03), everytime i finished a full game it booted me with that warning, it never happened at the end of a map which i joined halfway through, only at the end of my first full game.

I HAVE NOT uninstalled BF2, and the problem has mysteriously vanished, it has not happened for 2 days now.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean downloadinf the exe file and installing it? That's what I did.

I updated Punkbuster that didn't work...guess I might have to re-install. I wonder why some people have this problem and others don't.

"modified content " means that the patch didn't install properly even if it appears it did. The patchlog.txt file will tell you what the patch failed to install.

This means that you will either be able to connect to no server or just some specific maps.

Same problem here, though last night it was able to change maps. So Irritating. I did the uninstall/reinstall.Same problem.
