not a whinge (!) - tips please

Believe it or not this is not a whine...i think the game is great :)

i love the Dao / Pistol / AT combination, the perfect combination of up-close spamming with long range skill (guiding those missiles on to moving helis and jeeps, long range pistol headshots etc...)

but anyway - i need some tips:

What is the best way to use the APC vs other APCs?

So many times i go in with a healthy APC, get the rocket hit in, and start firing away, only for the other APC to turn and blow me away with teh cannon. Are there weak spots on the APC i shold be aiming for?

I've heard to aim for the rear, or on a tank, the treds.

Unlike the tank which has significant weak spots around the treads and rear, to my knowledge the APC has NO WEAK SPOTS, so it doesnt matter where you hit it.

My tactics in APC vs. APC combat are:

-Fire your missile and reverse around a corner to re-pair your apc/reload your missile, then repeat
-Or much better, shoot your missile, then haul ass towards the other APC firing your turrent gun, you'd be surprised how this puts the ****s up the opposing APC, its like they think youre invincible or something. Also works in tank vs. tank combat

Since anti tank players are so cool, I'll share my secret... :)

When approaching, take your time and make sure you hit with the missile. Lay into the thing with your cannon, but aim for anything but the front armour.

Now here's the trick part:
While shooting the cannon, turn your APC slightly to the left, so you are presenting your right hand side to the enemy APC. You'll want to be at a 45-90 degree angle. Watch your armour status, and as soon as it goes into the red, bail out and run back away from your APC and the enemy. You always bail on the left hand side, so you will be able to take cover from the enemy fire behind the remains of your APC (get away from it before it explodes of course!).

Now take a step sideways, just enough to get a shot off with your AT rocket!
Problem solved.

It takes a little bit of practice, just keep calm and focussed and you'll get it almost every time. I always switch to my rocket launcher before getting in a vehicle, so I'll be ready for this manouver.

If you have an anti-tank friend in your APC, blow some smoke for them ("X") and get them to bail and attack simultaneously, then you'll still have your APC afterwards!
