For some reason my medic First aid veteran badge is not showing up and i met the requirements a couple of times. Badges seem to be bugged at times.

Most of the time you have to heal a couple of people before you get one heal pt...like stated previously, I think when you heal the equivalent of 100% health you get a pt.

Other than spamming packs, I have not found a real good way to get this badge.

Also, does not look like self inflicted damage, or team damage goes into getting heal pts. Gotta go legit on this one, or at least close to it unless you have people you know on the other side just wounding you.

Hah, if that was possible people would just drive a hummer or vodnik into water and keep repairing it for the repair badges :p

Fall damage and team damage both count. The only healing that doesn't count is that which you do unto yourself.
