i was looking at my bf2 stats and under the purple heart it says that hte purple heart is awarded tosomeone who has been killed in acction which i kno not to be true..i think its just being wounded or killed

Basically if you are wounded in a combat zone which you need any sort hospital care, you will get a Purple Heart. Eg. If you were cutting your breakfast apple and slipped; cutting your finger and requiring stitches, Purple Heart for you!
