Question about the 1.02/1.03 patch

I never thought about this but i think that most people use the 1.03 patch now, and i was wondering about what happens if you install the 1.02 patch on, what will happen.

Like the ranks, all the new badges/medals/ribbons that you got.

Will they be gone, will you be back to your old rank?

how about u just try it out......and then tell us what happened....lol

anyway, since i installed the 1.03 patch the white line, which indicates how far away u r from being promoted, doesn't "worck" anymore........what can i do to fix this problem?????

The 1.02 install will fail. The installer checks the binaries to verify they are correct before installation occurs. When this check fails the patch will not install.

well how bout u uinstall the game then preceed to intall the game and then install the first 2 patches. try that

I was thinking of that too but im not sure if it will work.

you cant fix the white line problem on the BFHQ its a bug that EA games made.

All stats are server-side, so even if you were to revert to 1.02, it wouldn't change your ranks.

if you cleanly installed the game then yes you could install the 1.02 patch but you wouldn't be able too log in too bfhq or play on any ranked servers so what your ranks would do isn't relevant.

the 1.02 patch works if you install it on but there are not many servers that u can play on, so it kind of sucks
