I don't know if I just wake up or what, but I just discovered that I can remove (as an engineer of course) my own mines and then re-use them later. Is it new since 1.03 or it has been like than since the beginning.

However, I don't know if I can remove mines installed by another Engineer (same team or ennemies)?

it is always been like that, the update in 1.03 with the mines is that you can blow then up with a granade

yes, and use them for your own nefarious deeds.

but note that you can still remove, but not carry, more mines than the total maximum (5 or 6 i think)

It was just changed in the last patch. Claymores can also be destroyed by blowing them up. One of my favorite parts of hte new patch. I hated having to die twice (two claymores) trying to get to a sniper.

I knew you could remove them but grenade them? Awesome, thats going to be very helpful instead of leaving me crouching in the middle of a firefight trying to make a way for the tanks :)

Well that explains why I had 3 mines blow up today w/ no vehicle around and I got 2 TK's for it.

Makes sense but kinda sucks.

I assume a tank can shoot and destroy the mines now as well which negates using them as Anti-tank weapons. No more blocking roadways, you have to hope they can't see them in the grass or use a downward slope to hide tham @ the crest.

Now they'll just be an opportunity for a nOOb teammate to punish you.
