Why do i not become First Sergant?

I'm Master Sergant, got all the basics, 26000 points. So why do i not become First Sergant? I didn't have all the basics when i became Master Sergant, is that why?

Could be I guess. You may be missing a certain ribbon or medal keeping you from moving on up.:hmm:

Master and First Sergeants are equivalent ranks. You do not get promoted from one to the other.

1) use the search function to search for one of the other 658618560 posts about this....

2) A requirement for becoming First sergeant is being Gunnery sergeant, and if you're Master sergeant, you of course aren't Gunnery sergeant anymore
