thinking of overclocking my fx5200

as u already kno..the 5200 is like the weakest card for bf2 and i was wondering how much i should over clock it ...its normal speed is like 250mhz...but i wanna over clock it to 260 or 280mhz...wat are the risks?

It wont take much of an overclock maybe up to 265 but you'll suffer with lock ups & possible driver corruption, bin it & get at least a 6600.

Just let it auto detect the best settings, you should be ok there. DO monitor temps as you CAN fry it. As a GENERAL rule, a 10% overclock is reasonably safe, but if you fry it, don't bitch at us :)

dude, fx5200 sucks(i play with one) just get an omegadriver, itll play lowest settings NO lockups, im gunna trash it soon though, and get FX 5700 256mb
