help...can't install bf2 patch

I downloaded and ran the BF2 patch but then it says "Can't Find Install Folder for Battlefield2(TM)."
Can someone help me

i had the same problem once eith the 1.02 patch...
try reinstall the game in to a difrent folder...
worked for me...

You have to manually uninstall BF2. Follow the directions in this thread:

http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15912

Once you've done that, you should be able to re-install the game. Be sure to use the default install folders for everything (I'm pretty sure your problem comes from moving/changing the install folder for BF2). Then you should be able to patch.
