This was so wierd.
Yesterday I bought an extra gig of RAM and added the two chips of 512mgs each to the already existing 2*512 (3200).
When I ran BF2 and joined a multiplayer round - the whole movment was jerky as hell. The faster I tried to move - the further I got pushed back. So if I tried to turn left, I got jerky movements - something like 5 degrees move left then a few degress back.
So I tried the single player. In single the whole game ran on crazy speeds. Everything including me, moved like warner brother's road runner. This is when I thought, what I saw in the multiplayer session was punkbuster's way to avoid people who try to cheat with faster movments.
I tried to change my video setting and make the shaders optimizations process again, but it did not help.
I noticed that the sattelite video on the man menu also ran too fast.
So my next move was runing the demo of BF2. It ran fine and smooth as it should. As did the sattelilte video.
Another attmempt to log onto the full game - and it worked. I got my BF2 back without the horrible jerky movement.
Anyone had that?
