I like sniping. I start my own squad called snipers I try to back up squads that try to take flags and cover any advances. I can't go running all over the map like alot of the others do I get into a good spot a stay till we get the flag then move on or if i know they are going to come back after it i will stay and cover it. Besides playing sniper gives me less of a chance of a team kill. I was playing a server and they kept trying to vote me off of it because i was not running all over the map trying to capture a flag. A sniper does not have much of a cance against an automatic weapon. now give me a break I help cover your butt by taking out other shipers and other players trying to take you out. remember just because I don't run all over the map doesn't mean I am not doing my part. I'm all alone out there covering your butt.

Those trying to vote you off are probably still stuck in the Quake-2 "camping" era. There's no such thing as camping in modern FPS Online play. Also, they probably don't realise the support you're giving them from afar.
And grow some thicker skin

there is an inherent lack of danger in sniping. It's little to no risk killing. If I go assault, im gonna die more than if I go snipe.
The one shot kill really ****es people off too.
that said, I snipe all the dang time. If I can get an advantage outside of say, exploiting, im gonna do it.Comment

When im commander I usually play as sniper as you are more use to your team that way. When commanding you tend to sit in one place watching the command screen, but inbetween commanding yo might aswll keep watch over a flag or the whole map on some maps like the peninsular map, there are a couple of cheeky ittle vantage points where you can see 80% of the map and offer good sniper support.Comment
