ahhhhh help me please!!!

Hi guys, hmm, well the problem is i jsut got my new computer today and when i installed bf2 and the 1.03 patch i started to paly it and every 5 or so seconds i stop moving then about 3-4 seconds after i start moving again, its wierd and the game is definetly not frezzing or lagging, can anyone out there help me

i was getting the same problem. Try manually updating PunkBuster. I ended up switching my Firewall off and that(or the PB update) seems to have fixed it for me.

Why on EARTH didnt you post your system specs.!?....?

Mechanic Im having trouble with my new car every 5 minutes or so i stop moving and 3-4 minutes later it starts up again, can u help me? thanks!

system specs are:

amd athlon 64 3500+
2 x 6600GT's running in sli mode
microsoft wireless comfort plus keyboard and mouse
320gb ide 7200rpm western digital hdd
1gb of ram

1st .. update graphic drivers ...
if(not good ){
2nd .. take out 1 card
try again
}

if(still not good){
update chipset drivers (NVIDIA chipset drivers I'm guessing you have)
}

if(still not good){
update disk controllers drivers
}

if(still not good){
come @ my place I'll give you mine comp .. and fix yours
}

those graphics cards the 128mb version or 256?
what are all of your settings running at? like geometry:high AAx6
Also you will want to increase the ram. I speak from experience on my pc and on building pcs for friends to play this game - more than 1 gig is needed to run EVERYTHING high "smoothly".

do what the other guy said - update PB and turn of firewall/anti-virus. heck, turn off ALL background tasks. if that doesn't work, consider reinstalling the game.

the manual update for punkbuster works for me
