How do these guys roll aroundwhen lying down? I see these guys rollin all over the place?

It's an automated move animation that happens when certain keys are pressed. If I recall correctly it's when you're strafing and then going prone - but I'm not entirely sure.

You're probably rolling a lot when playing yourself too, it's just that you never notice it from 1st person view!

Yea like Berren said, you press strafe then go prone. I think you have to do it at the same time or just about but i'm not quite sure seeing how i don't really do it.

Rolling is purely a visual thing for other players to see, you will never know if you are rolling or not.
