Mouse/keyboard Freezes-read This

I want to know if anyone else is getting this problem. I'm having this problem more often now. It is where when I join a server and I get on to the spawn menu, my mouse wont move and none of the keys will do anything except Alt-F4 and Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Yes, I know this problem. Your controls.con file has been emptied. It's size is 0.

Solution: before joining, go to options, and "restore default" key settings.
After that configure your controls.
SAVE YOUR CONTROLS.CON AFTER THAT!

Next time the bug appears, just copy the saved controls.con over the one that has 0 size.
