Custom Maps/ Crash to Desktop

Anyone know info on CTD causes for custom maps.

I once ran BF Nights, but other than that I CTD. Every time. I tried turning anti-alias off, and going to medium settings. Still no luck.

I'm running 1G RAM, on AMD 64 3200.

ATI x700

Driver 5.8

Could a reinstall of BF2 help?

Reinstalling might help. However there is some error with v1.03 and we are working on it.

I remember hearing somewhere that a map made with 1.02 would'nt work with the new patch?

A little more info on my CTD's.

I just ran BF Nights again no problem. But custom maps in normal BF2 1.03 CTD at the every time at the same time.

After all is loaded, objects, geometries, etc., and it goes to the verify client screen just before the join game button comes up, thats WHEN IT CTD's.

And Im running ATI Radeon 5.9 drivers now.
