I = boycotting expansion.

This guy hit got it 100% right, this is why a boycott is needed. Even if you want to buy the game eventually (which i personally don't as mods will be good enough by the time sf comes out) then show EA your dissatisfaction with BF2's current state of disrepair (or is this 1.03 beta?) by at least waiting a week before buying the ex pack. Thats THE ONLY way we can get them to listen to us, by not giving them money, which is their ONLY motivating force to do anything.

Yeah I agree totally thats why I won't be buying the expansion pack. Hit them where it hurts their bottom line. I am also sick of buying games and then they need patching or should I say Major patching.

A game like this that can't even fix the most basic problem or the most major problem even after a 3 month wait for a patch that being red tag friendlies/blue tag enemies is just a rip off and it is still beta!

Don't buy the expansion pack and send a message to EA that you aren't happy!

Totally agree with the article, and I'd decided long ago I wasn't buying the expansion.

And this might as well be 1.03Beta, as there is a complaint thread on the EAUK forum that is so they can put it in their hotfix they'll most likely release in about 3 weeks. (or more, knowing them, and hey, the thread is up to 30 pages within a week, wow)

The best game currently out, the expansion done by canada/dice will be different, new vechicles ,maps, and the other player models.

I like tweakguides, but does he remenber games before patches ever existed!

I love patches, they are for us!

Thanks for the patch, hopefully their will be more!

On the next couple of games, it will say this is the final product and their will not be any patches!

i aggree with im if you want to make a message to any company you just stop giving them business its the beauty of capitolism except it really dosent matter any more cuz a few thousand people will boycott the expansion but millions will still buy it

Gaming companies dont care what we think.

well, if nobody buys their products they WILL start caring about we, the customers, think.

right now, they don't give a rat's ass because they're making millions (billions?) from us buying their half-finished products.

The other way, of course, would be to start campaigning for software warranties. When you buy a fridge and something goes wrong and it zaps one of your kids, you've got something to fall back on, get your money back, get it fixed, have your kid replaced, etc. If software had to come with some sort of warranty, EA wouldn't be able to release half-*ssed code without a come-back on them, financially.
