yes yes yes..u just cant fly with just a keyboard/mouse..see i even knew this b4 using a joystick to fly...it just helps u so much

Yes, a joystick will make flying a jet Kick @$$ compared with flying it with a mouse.

i would recomend the Logitech EXTREME 3D PRO
its not alot of money, and is really functional with the twist grip Yaw conrtol that replaces pedals.

I got a logitech joystick yesterday and i am very hapyp with it. Flying planes is much easier and you don't crash (as often). Still i have to learn how to use it before i can really appreciate it. So go ahead and buy one, its worth it.

I say yes ,but the joystick won't turn you into an ace pilot as soon as you touch it. It does take some time to get used to the new control setup.

I love my joystick for jets, but actually I prefer the keyboard/mouse for choppers. I find I can hover with pinpoint accuracy when using the keyboard/mouse in a chopper.

yea, the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is what i have, its about $40 at bestbuy now i think... you cen get it cheaper on pricewatch.com or pricegrabber.com

a definate yes for jets, but choppers im shaky, i personally fly better with mouse/key board but it depends on the person. Also Get the Saitek Cyborg Evo its great.

hey you know how if you have a jet you have to press w and let go then press it again to get a good speek can you just set the speed with a joy stick and not have to wory about it again
