BF2:SF comes out November 15 or around there. That is a little over a month away so they will be putting major time in to get that game where they want it.

That doesn't have anything to do with patch development. DICE:Canada is making the BF2:SF expansion, while DICE:Sweden is making BF2 and the patches.

most of the problems after the 1.03 patch or fairly unimportant but the one thing they have to fix is the browser because it doesn't work for me AT ALL.

its been said from EA them self. they are not planning to patch BF2 any more. at the moment they are only taking in what the people have to say so they know what to put in there next one.. but apparently they think the game is running fine so they cant find anything to fix, ppfffffft lol what a joke

How do you mean? As in how many boxes i check for :- ranked, not full etc etc ?

I can honestly say in some ways im very happy with the patch the main reason is i can actualy play the game i had to stop playing for over a month. Because i wasnt going to risk my machine as it was always locking up and crashing and restarting it even restarted a couple of times and all i had was a blue screen i **** myself when i saw that thats why i stoped playing. But as for bugs there are still plenty of bugs new and old ones dam there somes big bugs just on wake island. WTF are the beta testers doing they realy need to be sacked and replaced IMO all they have to do is play the dam game and find he flaws which any decent played found within a couple of hours of installing the patch.

Never had a CTD with prior versions of BF2. Since 1.03, I've had about half a dozen.

Can't see why people are giving bed marks ... its stopped alot of the point farming

what are you talking about i was on another server trying to play a game and i saw two morons raking up the points. one would blow up stuff and the other would fix it. i've also sean a lot of zombis who get hurt or shoot ammo just to let another player get the medic or support points... all this ranking is sucking bigtime no matter how hard one tries cheaters end up on top. bf2 was more fun...

1.04!!?? We need a 1.1 that actually fixes issues with the game not just add stuff and fix little things! I really liked this 1.03 patch for the things they added but the more I play the more I see that they did not fix. Some being rockets going through vehicles, vehicles disappear when aiming at them in a tank/apc/etc, c4 glitch, along with the ones wbcninjaofmist mentioned and the problems posted over and over in the bugs section on this site. Give them 2 years and maybe they will have most of everything straightened out as 1942 went. SF, HAHAHA, yeah right! Not with the same issues DICE seems to be having with their games. Server Browser. Do I have to say any more? If a small program such as ASE can find servers with no problem, why can't they fix this simple in-game browser?

yep, same here the longer i play with the new patch the buggier my game becomes

I believe you are reading things into their statement that aren't really there. All they said was that they weren't committing to anything either way. I don't think they're going to sell many expansion packs if they leave the game in this state.

Welp, blame EA... and yourselves..

All you point and stat geeks made it so important to them they have
went overboard to make their stat system mean sooo much..

When you make a point system so important like they have done,
youre sure to get the hacks, cheaters, padders, etc..

Blah.. stats mean nothing to me... other than getting an unlock
weapon..it means nothing..and personally, I think all the weapons
should be available from day one.. you outrank me? who cares..
