1.03 works great for me. For a while I still had CTDs, but then I found out that my RAM wasn't getting the proper voltage. After I gave that a little boost (a safe boost) the VPU recovery messages and CTDs stopped. I haven't gotten a red freindly once since I installed the patch, either.

How much more voltage did you put in it, i might have to try that.

What drug(s) are you smoking? I don't know what perect is, so obviously you don't like it.

1.04!!?? We need a 1.1 that actually fixes issues with the game not just add stuff and fix little things! I really liked this 1.03 patch for the things they added but the more I play the more I see that they did not fix. Some being rockets going through vehicles, vehicles disappear when aiming at them in a tank/apc/etc, c4 glitch, along with the ones wbcninjaofmist mentioned and the problems posted over and over in the bugs section on this site. Give them 2 years and maybe they will have most of everything straightened out as 1942 went. SF, HAHAHA, yeah right! Not with the same issues DICE seems to be having with their games. Server Browser. Do I have to say any more? If a small program such as ASE can find servers with no problem, why can't they fix this simple in-game browser?

I dont consider the patch "perfect" as it didn't fix well-known bugs like these:
- Enemies showing up as blue, teammates as red (and this has increased after 1.03)
- Enemy units going invisible when you're aiming at them
- Sometimes a flag can't be capped, it gets to 99% and sits there without turning.
- When resupplying a teammate low on ammo, his "red circle" icon on the minimap doesn't go away immediately (as it does with the medic), but stays for about a minute. With 20 soldiers in need of ammo on your minimap this gets messy.

Not to mention these bugs, which has been in the game since BF1942 (that's 3+ years without fixing them):
- Lag/hitzones bug; you jump behind a sandbag, run behind a corner and still get shot.
- Limbs are clipping through walls when prone, providing a juicy target for anyone behind the wall.
- You can heal/resupply/repair through walls, and even enter vehicles through thin fences/walls.

How can you call this Perfect? I call it incompetence.

I would be just happy to see the honours having increased values again (harder to get) and a few new maps, everything else seems fine. The maps get old really quick, particalrly as they are all very similar using the same buildings and textures and stuff. Maybe a night battle would be good too, or diffrent wheather conditions on each map woul give it much more variation.

me too. i think this is the last patch. they'll probably say that if you want everything to get fixed, get the expansion pack.

There is no way to guess what will/might be in the next patch, but this thread will probably run to 5 or 6 pages where everyone guesses or lists their "must" haves. I don't think this will be the last patch

I think that this will be the last patch until Special Forces comes out. Do you knw why I think that? Simple... BF2:SF comes out November 15 or around there. That is a little over a month away so they will be putting major time in to get that game where they want it. Now they SHOULD fix the bugs and such in that game while adding all the stuf that they are.

The patch is great for me also. BF gameplay is great.

At this point they should really work on the server browser. It still has too many problems.
