Yeah, but i hope the patch comes soon, 1.03 is giving me like the same amount of ctds and permanant lock-ups as patch 1.01.

well since DICE canada is making SF and DICE sweden makes the patches and the orginal BF2 i think it will be maybe 2-3 weeks if they work hard

Serously? that must suck. I had serous problems with CTDs and lock-ups with out of the box version I think it was resolved in 1.02 or 1.03 for me anyways.

I dont want a complete new patch, but atleast a HOTFIX, to correct the ecrypted cd key regestry...grrrrrr!

Yeah, it does suck, it either does a CTD during loading, a permanant lock up (freeze screen) 5 seconds in to the game, or permanant lock-up 10 minutes into the game. The game was working ok before the 1.03 patch though.

Should be a little fix for the main things soon, red name bug, the basic pistol and knife glitch, and the cd key thing.

Realistically, end of november, maybe beggining of December. And, yes that is my prediction for just a hotfix. Which they won't do. They will keep adding and changing things we dont want/care about and wont fix the problems.

I dont think the freindlies with red name glitch will be fixed in this year.

Gawd, the aren't any problems, it's you thats the problem, more people don't have problems than do, it only seems that way because no one is posting all the time, EA ARE TEH ROX!!!!11 because that's just silly, they just get flamed by people who have problems due to their pc setup.

I dont think there gonna make another patch for awhile. Like Conscriptvirus said they want more money so they are making SF patchs are free to shut us up for a bit.

Just because someone is complaining about the bugs doesnt mean their pc setup is the problem . I smoothly run all settings high , textures ultra high , 6xaa 100%view and although i love this game and just stopped playing a minute ago I have to admit theres problems.

A very innacurate server list
the c4 glitch
Missled / rpgs going through vehicles
Tk punishes for merely being the pilot / driver of the vehicle
no m203 splash damage
no rpg splash damage
difficulty clicking onto a spawn point after continuous tries
cd key problems
connection to server problems
.......and ON and ON and ON

bro... its obvious you are very fond of EA ""EA ARE TEH ROX!!!!"" which is fine , but saying there are no problems is ignorant. ""more people don't have problems than do"" and you based these findings on what research?
I couldnt care less about EA but I do love bf2 but Im still cognant and realize that the software is bugged to an exterminators worst nightmare. They , EA , arent necessarily being "flamed". A lot of people are just disappointed that they purchased what should possibly have been a beta bf2. That being said , I deal with the problems and play on and enjoy myself (which i think ill go back n play a lil now )but no matter how much i love this game I couldnt with a straight face say theres no problems!

1.03 works great for me. For a while I still had CTDs, but then I found out that my RAM wasn't getting the proper voltage. After I gave that a little boost (a safe boost) the VPU recovery messages and CTDs stopped. I haven't gotten a red freindly once since I installed the patch, either.
