or he was trying to make a pun, and I found it funny. See instead of Far Eas(t) ribbon he was making an inference to how easy it is to get the ribbon, hence the Eas(y).

sure its gonna work...and if you play on chinese maps you will get the PLA ribbon..lol...

hmm think its 20 hours as MEC or PLA to get the Ribbon...

Its probably his first time playing as MEC since the patch, hence he thinks he did it cause he played MEC for like one second :)

no igot my FER playing for USMC soc I concluded that its just the time you spent in the Chinese 'theatre' ( or MEC for MER) that counts not which side you play for. Strangely i didnt get any notice for either ribbon when i got them, they just appeared on my stats one day!

you have to have 50 total hours of mec playtime for the mec ribbon. and something else. and 50 hours of china playtime for the china ribbon.

i played 50h or more with usmc and i didnt get it..only the mec ribbon

I dont think the 50 hours is the trick.
I have both, and I have 85, 61, 17 (US,MEC,CHINA) for hours.
