I used to be able to take out helicopters relatively easily. Now I can't do jack squat. The missles will charge the helicopter then wildly divert at the last minute. I can see and announce helicopters through comm well before the AA locks on to them. Jets can still dive bomb and charge at you well before you can even get a shot off. Has anyone noticed any improvements at all in AA?

Its exactly the same with the Air to air missles and use the serch function as there is already about 10 topics on this. -

And what do you suggest I search on? "air" and "aa" are both too short to search with and "air missiles" returns very little.

Now I fire missile after missile at jets and they never seem to even hit. I see them shoot away at the jets with a good lock on, then nothing (though I seem to get team damage messages about a minute later for no apparent reason - more than before the patch)
As for choppers, can't really say, but they don't seem to cause as much damage, or maybe they do just straight through.
I would say I am a pretty good AA user, I used to love just waiting for my prey to fly right at me on a bombing run. But no more :evil:
It winds me up a bit, especially with the new map Wake Island.
That would be such a great map if it was not for the fact that one or two GOOD pilots on the enemy team make it virtually pointless to play.Comment
