Patching apparently "complete"

Hello
When I run the 1.02 and 1.03 patches they both say that the patching was completed, but when I boot up the game it doesn't appear to have had an effect (version number is still the same (1.1.2551.0) and there is the message from EA about v1.03. How can I resolve this?

On my system the hard drive is partitioned into 2 drives, C: (where BF2 is installed), and D: I have an AMD athlon 64 3200, 1 gig RAM, and a 6600GT graphics card.

not sure on the version number, but I think everyone gets that. I get the msg etc.
I'll check on that!

The multiplay.co.uk servers don't display when the "same version only" box is checked and they run the newest version.

I have had difficulties with the patches in the past (on another computer) - I think perhaps they should look into an optional auto update feature.
