is there any program or web site that can scan my computer and tell me the best video settings i can confige my bf2 too. Such a pain to try to figure out wut to turn up and turn down...

How much RAM, what processor speed? Pentium 4 is not a speed.

The fx5600 is NOT suported by BF2. A gig of ram will do you wonders. So would a faster video card, 6600 or better. Currently $159.00. At this point LOW is the way. Try using www.fraps.com and measure your frames per second and play with settings until you have a FPS above 25 with best picture. Also run aquamark3d (google it, free) and see what your results are. Mine 59000. Yours will probably be 18-22000.

processor spead is 256 and i already got that big gig of ram and yes it already has done wonders, but just not wit bf2 really. yea i started reading those from the link that was somewhere on this site thanks.
