I think it's impossible for anyone to give you a meaningful answer to this question without access to the actual stats or some algorithm to take all the stats and spit out a list of most played kits in order. Otherwise it's just guesswork, when there is an actual real answer to the question. :) Unless you meant what kits, in order, do you play the most.Comment

Re: Most played classes?
Depends completely on the map, the situation, the varying degrees of idiots on the team, in a squad or not, whether you have backup or not, what you are up against....Comment

I find it sad how few people play Engineers, the ability to repair vehicle and the amazing stopping power of shottys.Comment

Re: Most played classes?
Overall, the highest scoring classes are the SpecOp and Medic, if one looks at the first few pages of top-ranked players in BFHQ. Inversely, the Support and AT are the lowest scoring classes (last I looked). In the middle, the Engineer is likely on the lower end while Assault is even with Sniper.
If one were to do an exhaustive accumulation and average of "time played as" for the top ten-thousand players in each class, the times will be closer than scores, but SpecOps and Medics will likely still be the top two classes as they have the best incentives to play as and easiest point gain.Comment

Re: Most played classes?
1 - special forces (C4, g36c)
2 - assault (mainly for the noob cannon)
3 - medic (revive points)
4 - engineer
5 - sniper
6 - support
7 - anti tank (don't know why, AT missiles are fvcking useless against tanks)Comment

Re: Most played classes?
What I think is the most played:
1:Spec-ops (for C4 and G36c)
2:Assault (damn M-203......)
3:Medic (mostly in city maps)
4:Sniper (even more so since the patch, more M95's floating around...)
5:Support
6:Anti-tank
7:Engineer
What I play most:
1:Support (I just love my PKM!!!)
2:Anti-tank (for when nobody else wants to do it...)
3:Spec-Ops (mostly at beginning of rounds to blow up some assets and key bridges)
4:Medic (only if it is badly needed)
5:Engineer (only on transport choppers)
6:Assault (I never really play this class unless I start the round too fast and forget to choose a class....)
7:Sniper (I can't snipe!)Comment

You forgot one. Snipetard. You know the guy. Sits on his ass all day with little or no kills, too lazy to cap a flag or help his team...Originally posted by ColonelPanic1)Bunny Hopper

Re: Most played classes?
Ok, this was from the beginning when BF2 just came out, these were official results from a survey:
Spec Ops (obviously, EA shocked the battlefield community with spec ops)
Assault
AT
Medic
Sniper
Support
Engineer
Educated estimates for most played classes now:
Spec ops (still, especially because of points for destroying assets in 1.03)
Medic or Assault (really close, you see lots of medics and assaults on Karkand, and same with all other maps)
AT (People love the DAO and like rocket launchers)
Support or Sniper (I see a lot of both, Support is tied because of people giving away ammo and getting points)
Engineer (usually only vehicle whores and commanders, sometimes somebody who wants points for repairing assets, but that's temporary)Comment
