Hi guys, Just a quick question

Where are the voice clips, such as, "Hostile slick inbound, over" located?

And if you could, what format are they in? I did a quick search of the BF2 dir but I have to go to work and don't have time to keep looking.

If anyone knows let me know, I have a few things planned that the BF2 community might like.

press Q and then right click for vehicles. Slick is helicopter or plane i think.

Or just hold Q and get the "spotted" circle over an enemy vehicle/troop/sniper etc. and it will automatically tell your teammates what kind of enemy it is. If you cannot get a direct sight on the enemy, you can right click the spotted circle and then choose the enemy from the list.

From there, you should be able to figure out the other voice macros.

He's asking what file formats the sound clips are in, and where they are located. Not how to call enemies.

Within C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Common_client.zip (your BF2 directory may vary), go to the Sound folder, then English (or Chinese or MEC), then Grunt has all the Q sounds (Enemy APC Spotted, etc...) and the others are self-explanatory.

You need the Ogg Vorbis codecs. Get them at: http://www.vorbis.com/
