over 5 kills as sniper in 2 Karkand maps but no badge - new glitch?

I played 2 rounds of Karkand today as sniper, first map got 6 kills, second got 8 kills, but I never got the sniper badge. Which I thought was 5 kills in a map?

I don't think it was the server, it was a EA UK server and in a previous round I got the engineer badge (5 repair points - easy now that people actually attack arty etc)

Is it a new glitch or just me being unlucky?

Damn, maybe I should just go tank whoring as a sniper? lol

I think you need 10 kills in a round to get the basic sniper badge.

UBAR isn't 100% on all it's info. This isn't official BF2 info from EA or DICE I don't think.

Does anyone have the expert sniper badge? If so what did it take to get it? Somebody told me it was 35 kills. I've had more than 35 kills many times and received nothing. That's the only badge I actually want to get. I couln't care less about all the other medals and ribbons.

Lonewolf - I think most have time requirements or kill requirements before you can get the badge. For example, the veteran kits you have to have played for 15h and get 20 kills in a round. Not sure about expert.

Well, I have about 130 hours as sniper seeing as how that's the kit I use 95% of the time. I would think that would be enough time to get it. Anyway, it's not that important I guess I'll get it eventually.

I got expert sniper a few days ago. Yeah it was 100 hours and 35 kills.
