eek! Memory.dll:sanity check

i got this uber homo message about at 3/4's or at the collision part of my loading... "memory.dll:Sanity Check:block size 1417219212 (1351.57MB) doesn't seem sane" AND then i click try again and it says "Memory.dll:all attempts failed for size 1417219212"
This absoulty ****es me off!! anyways, i googled it up and i came across some people running into a similar problem with the demo and i found out they just said "buy the offical, real, $50, game.." well geuss what, i kinda do have the game and i kinda have ran into the problem... here are my specs and please tell me what ever is on your mind that i might be able to fix this problem... i need to play bf2!!!
ACPI Uniprocessor PC
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+
2.16 GHz, 1.50 GB of RAM
(just installed) Radeon RX800 Guru

The "Memory Sanity" error seems to be being caused by Serial-ATA drives not having the correct motherboard drivers installed. Please check your drivers if you are having this problem. If you are getting the Memory Sanity error pop up and do not have SATA please let us know.

Sounds like a memory conflict with another program. Try shutting down as many of the programs as you don't need, and running BF2, Firewalls, Antivirus, etc, shut it all down.

Was having the same problem pop up when switching to the next map. Since someone said that turning off other programs might help, were you running eMule when your popped up?

As for the Serial ATA answer, I'm not sure what I have since I'm at work at the moment. But I bought my computer from Dell, I seriously doubt they would have wrong drivers on their systems.

Plus the game has been working fine for over a month so far. I'll try to figure out if this problem started since I installed 1.03 or since some other event.

i have the same problem and bf2 has been running fine for me for almost a year. suggestions besides the driver issue?
