your connection to the server has been lost

everytime i connect to a server i get that message and it brings me back to the menu, this started once i installed 1.3, anyone know how to fix this crap

Run a search. I believe I answered a question very simular to this, if not, its still a fix that needs to be found, so there is no sense in having 20 threads, all of which there is no answer for.

i looked through all of the threads regarding this problem and none of them were helpfull, thats why i posted

So if none of them had a solution....then why post another thread? Once a solution is found, it will be posted. I guess that is my point.

The only solution for connection problems are:

Firewall - Ports open (check the BF2 manual for these)
Router - Same thing
Windows Firewall - Double check that if you have a 3rd party firewall, it is off
PunkBuster - Download PBUpdate from www.evenbalance.com
ISP - Either your ISP has a port blocked, or your line signal is ****ty.
