Audigy 2ZS Mic Trouble

Just bought an Audigy 2ZS and I'm having trouble with my mic with BF2 specifically. I normally use Ventrilo when playing BF2 when I had my old soundblaster live. Worked flawlessly. Now with the Audigy my friends only hear static on Vent.

I tried just recording my voice in windows with BF2 running and it was choppy, incoherent and sped up. As soon as I shut down BF2, and try recording my voice again; sounds perfect. I've tried disabling voip in BF2 and still get the same problem.

I'm running the newest beta drivers from Creative. If anybody has any suggestions as to what the problem may be a comment would be appreciated.

Couple of things to try (if you haven't already). First is to make sure that it is set to Microphone in the Mixer (and not "What You Hear"),



also make sure that the mic boost is enabled.
