Is it just me?

Is anybody else experiencing a slowdown during the "Verifying Client Data" step of connecting to a server after updating to 1.03? Used to take 60-90 seconds, now it takes over 5 minutes....

I haven't seen this mentioned yet. In fact, more people have said it's faster now than before.

Did you reinstall the game again or just the patch?

Mine was alright before, 30-45 sec map and verify, but it's even faster now.

Well, then it must be me....off to reinstall the whole thing once again and see what happens this time....

Mine was ok before, 10 - 20 seconds.

Uninstall and defrag before reinstalling the game. This may help.

I don't know since I changed my ide maxtor for a sata raptor when the patch came out and it only take lesss then 15 seconds .
