Its gonna be this upcoming weekend ,but who knows.
If server will be maxed out and maps are great fun we might keep the rotation for a while.
Lets see how it goes this weekend.
Its also not me who decides if we stick with this rotation ,thats up to our Core admins.
Me just a poor messenger ,so dont shoot me please

Yeah ,have to do something to have fun hey.:laugh:
But heck ,we had to download a huge patch a few days ago.
Looks like plenty of people now cannot even play the game anymore.:cry:

Be shure to try them mate ,those are great maps.
Better like those original BF2 ones IMHO.

Tiny Pat, a couple of week back there was a post on a program that was able to download custom maps from a server when you tried to join a server and you didn't have the map needed, just like ET and other games. It required a server side mod though.

Maybe worth looking into?

I have the balls to say,
That this is the first OFFICIAL post that starts up the Migration Away From Ranked Servers. Sure its gonna take a few months. But it has begun.

Soon as a super mod hits the downloads... and EA dont include it into ranked.

Ranked servers will allways be popular i for 1 will always play on them cause i like earning the madals and stuff(for my own satisfaction) but granted when some of these great mods come out my time on ranked servers will be alot less will be the same if servers running these custom maps take off and have good use i will spend alot more time on those aswell

Any chance you remember that URL or the name of that program?
Love to give it a go.
Will also contact our Custom Maps/Mods member to see if he knows about it.

BFDL is a program that will automaticly download the custom map that a server is running and then automaticly launch the game and connect to the server. The program is very simple to use, works with punkbuster and does not make the loadingtimes longer if you already have the map. As a server-admin all you need is the BFDL-server and a http- or ftp- server where the maps are hosted.

Okay ,maps are loaded and server is restarted.
People are on it ,so come out and play some of the best Custom Maps.

PS: You have to alter the foldername from Medina map so it looks like this;



After unpacking foldername = "bf2_medina_city" ,this does not work.
So dont forget to change that foldername to Medina_city
