This one is really weird. I have tried everything to fix it.. it is very annoying. I get these weird dots all over the place. It happens on vehicles, in the sky (as black dots), and even on water. I am not overclocking or anything, I have tried all different drivers (omega, 5.6-5.9 catalyst, etc) Also tried clearing my cache folder. Is this an issue with BF2 or my video card? Has anyone seen this before? I am running an X800XL AIW AGP at default speeds. It also happens on older versions of the game.
I have searched and searched and found different types of corruption issues but never like this one.
I can run ATI Tools test overnight w/out any corruption and this is the ONLY game I have an issue in. (which sucks because it's the only game I play regularly) I think it's something with the game because if you notice on the first shot of the humvee that it follows the contour of the vehicle. (does real corruption care about contours?) I also made sure it wasn't over heating.
Also if you look at the third pic of the outhouse and see the dots.. if I walk closer (4th pic) they dissappear. I AM STUMPED. I tried everything.. I even swapped power supplies, reinstalled windows, messed with all video settings, etc.
I think it's too weird to dismiss it as overheating or "real" artifacts..
PLEASE HELP!
