48 hours now and no update to rank :(

Everytime I join a ranked server the first three points I score gives me three rank promotion dings in game. I have played with the "Play Now" button and joining old favorite ranked servers via Xfire.

My kills/deaths and global score have updated once, but I have not recieved any ranks. I recieved a random award... Middle Easy Combat Ribbon.

theres a new ranking system after the patch, u need like less points for higher up ranks and they put in alot more, so dont expect to gain ranks from a few kills once u got 2 ranks up then its done until u get enough points for the next one, search the forums i swear i saw a website for the new ones

Have you tried just starting bf2 normally and then going to BFHQ?
It's probably because you are using an external program to start the game that it bypasses the usual account login checks that the ingame gui does.

1. I had enough global score PRIOR to the patch that my first few points scored gained me rank. I already met the requirements for the new ranks and they are awarded via

2. I tried launching in game via Play Now which connects you to official EA ranked servers. And from the server menu. I also used my Xfire favorites to pull up ranked servers I use to play on just to see.

3. I found the fix... post here and the next match you will get them :P Haha... seriously. Posted here... logged into some small man 16 person infantry maps and got the rank :)

4. Now I have the problem of getting my unlocks... which I can't seem to do atm But I have the ranks now :)
