i just installed 1.3 and had no problems logging in or anything like that but when i go to a server after i load the map i will click the join game button and it will open the game, but a split second after that and error pops up saying that my connection to the server has been lost, the last time i had this problem was when i first got the game and i had to turn off my firewall before i could find the right ports, but i tried turning off my fire wall and still it wouldnt work, do i need to punch in the ports again, or is there some other way to fix it, thanks

Scan your computer for ad/spyware and run an antivirus as well. Which Firewall do you use? I have Norton and also my hardware firewall in my router, and never had a problem with BF2 not working.
You can always try re-setting the ports just for ****s and giggles. -
