anybody else run into this "update server list" problem?

Hi,

With all the filters off, I see about 30 servers when I hit the "update server list". With just punkbuster and ranked filters on, I'm only getting 3.

This happened to me before and updating PB seemed to fix it. Not this time. I've uninstalled BF2 and PB, done a reinstall of both, updated PB with no luck, still only getting about 3 playable servers.

This is only place I could find to ask for some good help! Any is appreciated.

You guys shoulda checked my post out in the client support forum. It might help. My problem was any time i entered in a map name or server name into the search boxes, it cleared all servers and wouldn't show any. I unchecked the punkbuster filter box (not the main pb box at the bottom of the screen) and then i can now filter items properly. Try that to see if it works. For me it solved the problem. G/L

Did u update to the 1.3 Patch, that might have somthing to do with it. If you haven't you might want to

Sorry, yes I this is all happening after the update. I've tried an uninstall of everything along with a reinstall of the new patch, still no luck.

I got up to showing 5 servers earlier!!! (not really excited about that, but trying to be).

Really though, this is majorly frustrating. I can't find any other site that could possibly help and I feel like my online play here is done unless I can find a way to get to some servers.

a workaround untill you get it fixed could be to get all-seeing eye (for example)

that shows a boatload of servers.. if you use the workaround detailed in the forum it can also be used to join the server in question, otherwise you'll have to write down the ip and join from in-game
