1.03 ?? about gun blowing up heli

I had a helicopter really damaged. I shot the crap out of it with my spec ops gun... well the heli blew up killing both guys in it. Nobody else shot at it, just me. I didn't get the kills or the recognition. It was on wake island as well.
Is this something new or just something that happened to me? And no, nobody got the kills for it either.

it may have been on the verge of exploding before u hit it, alarms goin off and stuff on fire ya know?

maybe cuz ur m4 is just too weak..and at some damage level for the vehicles..it damages itself..so it didnt register ur m4 as giving any "significant" damage to get the kill

i sniped a helocopter, knocked out the pilot, and it crashed, and i got both kills ^^
