nvidia users read !

Just downloaded the dzer0point modified nvidia 81.82 drivers and the improvement in BF2 is stunning.

I am using GF6800GT 256MB, running the game at max resolutions and settings. The effects are jaw dropping (especially in Wake Island which is fairly bright).

These drivers rock !

That is your choice, IMO modded drivers aren't bad and especially not DH Zer0point, they stem from the DriverHeaven community just like OmegaDrivers.

DH Zer0Point version of Catalyst 5.9 are out too, for ATI users.

You could probably run with standard VGA drivers and still beat most ppls rigs :rofl:

i am using the 81.05 forceware drivers and havent noticed a big improvement

My rig with 2 gigs of pc3200 ram, and Evga 6800GT 256mb run on all high, 4x aa, and highest resolution.. so i dont realy need to try it lol.

What about the 81.84 drivers (supposedly tweaked for Black & White 2)??

They're out. Has anyone tried it?

I am using the 81.84 and they are great. The 81.82 drivers would not keep my AA and AF settings in the global panel. I had to turn AA on in game, but the 81.84 have fixed this.

No performanceboost with zer0point ForceWare 0.8182 downloaded from: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1211.

The only thing I noticed was that my Virus Control found a trojan horse (and deleted it), both when installing and uninstalling files (not in drivers tho), so...

I will do like you, Jackass... Only nVIDIA supported files in the future...
And I will never close My protection. If I can't have my Norman up during an installation or when I play, I don't install or play...
