1.03 problem PLEASE HELP

ok i tryed to patch the game and when i ran the patch from the installer it hang with that little "now patching" window up for about 7 hours. so i figured it wasn't working. then i tryed the extractor way and i got these errors. so i downloaded the patch 4 more times and everytime i try open one of the patchers i get an "installshield wizzard error" why am i doomed to never play BF2 again. these are the pics i got from the extractor. it says i'm missing some files. maby all i need is to get those files then try patch again. oh yea i have also tryed many fresh installs of the game and still no help. how can all 5 patchers be stuffed. 4 say the "install shield error" and 1 just hangs for ever.

dude i get the same problem except i dont get the error message the patching just never goes away the longest i had it up for was like 8 hours i then closed the patching program and tried playing the game thanks to gunn i fixed the cd key not valid problem but then i would connect to a server and it would say that i have modified content im guessing do to an incomplete patch lol ive been working hard on this for 3 days and im pretty close to throwing a something or writing a letter to EA/DICE with some choice words but im lazy so ill probably do niether

yea i still cant play with the new 1.03 patch. but i uninstalled BF2 and deleted the folder. then ran my registry cleaner and done a fresh install and patched to the 1.02 and i get the same starting screen as the 1.03.. now why is this doing this.

hmmm odd, maybe u have to install patch 1.02 first (if u havnt already done so) if u havnt, try that then 1.03
